Berkeley Faculty Club Wedding // Aanika + Jonathan
Aanika and Jonathan were married last summer at the UC Berkeley Faculty Club. Even though we've done a lot of shoots there, there are so many spots to take pictures that are special to each couple that we're always finding new places to photograph each time. We had a lot of fun with these two - Adm and Jonathan yammered about sports pretty much the entire time, and coincidentally, Aanika and I discovered that we have the same wedding ring, which really is strange since it's made by a small independent jewelry designer in New York. And of course, all of their guests had a great time - rolling down the hills in party dresses, playing wiffle ball and corn hole - it was the perfect summer outdoor wedding.

You may remember these two from their super fun SF engagement session not too long ago, yes? Well, they got married in January, and again, we had a blast photographing them, especially during the portraits! Their reception venue, the Berkeley City Club, is one of the MOST gorgeous spots around - so many beautiful arches, tilework, garden patios, and the indoor pool is jaw-dropping. Seriously, I could have spent all day photographing them in that place! If you ever find yourself in Berkeley with some time to kill, I recommend popping in to check it out. Anyway, everything about Karen and Uday's wedding was perfect - we've got nothing but lots of good wishes for these two who are off to India for some more celebrating!
